 A14-02: Creating Composite Images
Objectives:
  • Explore even more about creating composite images in Photoshop
  • Get inspired to try some photo compositing and manipulations of your own!
Learn:
A composite image is created when you take images from different sources, and layer them together in Photoshop.  The variety you can achieve is as infinite as your imagination.  It can be as simple as combining a landscape from one photo, with the sky in another photo. Or it can be as complex as some of the examples below that were done in Photoshop.
You will need to use all the Photoshop skills you've learned to create composite images - using channels - expert masking - color correction - and a lot of creativity.  There are several Photoshop artists on YouTube that regularly add tutorials on how to do composite images. Let me share a couple resources with you...

Andrei Oprinca has over a quarter million subscribers on YouTube. He writes, "My name is Andrei, I'm the creator of PSD Box and in this channel I will upload all my Photoshop video tutorials along with some of my old music production tutorials."  Click the image below to go to Andrei's YouTube channel.

Basically, in the beginning and advanced Photoshop and Graphic Design courses, we've covered almost everything you need to know in order to composite in Photoshop.  Now it's a matter of using your imagination and creativity along with your skills - and practicing. Learn how others do what they've done.  This is the next big world of Photoshop for you to step into - being able to visualize something, and have the skills to make that visualization come to life in Photoshop.  Watch the video below...
