A13-05: Principles of Art and Design: Rhythm
Objectives:
- Learn what the principle of rhythm is in graphic design and art and how you should consider this principle as you design your own graphics.
Learn:
Rhythm: Rhythm is created when one or more elements of design are used repeatedly to create a feeling of organized movement. Rhythm creates a mood like music or dancing. To keep rhythm exciting and active, variety is essential. Please watch the video, "Rhythm in visual composition." Repetition refers to one object or shape repeated; pattern is a combination of elements or shapes repeated in a recurring and regular arrangement; rhythm--is a combination of elements repeated, but with variations.
