Portfolio Exhibit 4
Abbigail, this is beautiful. A couple of suggestions. Use space (proximity) a little better than you have. I'd darken the grey bars slightly so that the white text shows up better. Look closely and see how I've adjusted the spacing between families of information to make it look cleaner and more organized.
Ashley, this looks very professional. My only suggestion is that the gold color on the front is slightly different than the gold color on the back. I would make them the same.
Ben, you've got a great start. My suggestion is to harmonize your color scheme by using colors from your photo.
Brandon, this looks great. Explore some other font choices. It's looks like you're using three different fonts. I would limit it to two contrasting font choices.
Beautifully composed, Claire! My only suggestion is to add a little more negative space. Can you see the difference? It's subtle, but it makes a difference.
Cody, it looks good. Just a couple of suggestions. Instead of dividing the space equally - use the golden ratio. I added a slight gradient to provide just a touch more visual interest.
David, this looks professional. No additional suggestions.
Elise, great start. A few suggestions. Sometimes a slight gradient will give more visual interest to the background. I would strengthen your alignment by dividing the background into sections, using colors from the images. Carry the colors over to the flip side to provide unity and harmony. Unify the text through repetition - titles, subtitles, headings, and text should each have their own size and style that are used throughout the document.
Emily - this is gorgeous! And professional! My only suggestion would be to use proximity to group your contact me and shop info together.
Jacquelyn - this looks great! A couple of suggestions. Pull the text out of her hair. Pull her out of the background and blur the background just a bit more - that will focus attention on her. Try to make the text pop a little more using a slightly darker blue. I warmed up the greyscale just a touch so it contrasts with the cooler blue of the lettering.
Jeff, this is a good design. I think it would work even better if you pull the center information in a bit and give it some space (breathing room). I thought it would be interesting to take the squares motif and expand it even further using colors from the photos.
Jenny, that is quite creative and cute! Just my personal opinion (for what that's worth) - but the partial grey border doesn't add any thing. I'd also line the text up from front to back.
It looks very professional, Joe. Nice work! Good use of the rule of thirds or the golden section.
Kaitlin: Your poster looks pretty good! I wonder if you added a little noise and smoke to make it look even more gritty. What do you think?
Well done, Kolby! Very professional.
Lindsay, your resumé looks very clean and professional as is. I just doodled with it some to give you an alternate idea.
Rod, this looks professional. Good job!
TaKelle - this looks professional. No additional work needed. But there could be a lot of varieties for this!
Beautiful spread, Tressa! It looks professional as is.
